ZeroGantry verdict: 4 out of 5
Unitree H1 is the value champion of the humanoid market. At under $90k, it's the only humanoid you can actually buy today without a multi-year enterprise contract. The 3.3 m/s speed record is legitimate and verified — this robot can actually run. But it's a mobility platform first, manipulator second. The 19 DoF and simple grippers mean it's not going to assemble circuit boards or handle delicate parts. For research, education, and locomotion-focused development, it's unbeatable. For commercial manipulation tasks, you'll need to wait for the H2 or integrate your own hands.
