US Robot Manufacturers

The United States is home to most of the world's best-funded humanoid and robot-AI startups — Figure AI, Agility Robotics, Apptronik, Physical Intelligence and Skild AI among them — as well as Boston Dynamics and Tesla's Optimus program. It also leads surgical robotics through Intuitive Surgical, Stryker and Globus Medical.

US industrial arm manufacturing is comparatively small: most arms installed in US factories come from Japanese and European makers, supported by large US subsidiaries such as FANUC America in Michigan and Yaskawa Motoman in Ohio. Warehouse automation is a US strength, with Amazon Robotics, Symbotic, Locus Robotics and Berkshire Grey all based here.
